Gautam Adani is the first Indian to have established not one, not two, but seven firms with a market worth of Rs 1 lakh crore by rapidly developing his commodity trading company into a coal-to-port-to-energy behemoth. Ambani, who previously held the title of richest Indian for ten years, is now ranked second on this year’s list with a net worth of Rs 7.94 lakh crore.
