Gold Rate Today: The cost of gold and silver keeps decreasing even after Dhanteras and Diwali. The reason is that the price of gold has dropped to over Rs. 29,000 for 10 g. Today, silver has decreased in price by Rs. 377 per kg, while gold has decreased in price by Rs. 278 every 10 g.

Silver and gold on IBJA
The Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) website reports that the price of gold decreased by Rs 201 per ten grams on Monday to Rs. 50301 per ten kilograms, marking the start of this trading week (October 31). On Friday, the price of gold decreased by Rs. 277 per ten grams to settle at Rs. 50502.
The price of silver was updated at the same time and dropped by Rs 377 per kg to Rs 57042 per kg. Silver decreased by Rs 221 on Friday, closing at Rs 57,419 per kg.
Silver and Gold Prices on the MCX
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold is currently trading higher, contrary to the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association (IBJA). Today, the price of gold on the MCX increased by Rs. 20 to Rs. 50,250. While silver is currently down Rs. 130, trading at a level of Rs. 57,350.
From all-time highs, gold is now Rs. 5900 cheaper than before, while silver is at Rs. 23,000.
Price of 14 to 24 carat gold
Accordingly, the current price of 24-carat gold is Rs 50,301 per 10 g, while the price of 23-carat gold is Rs 50,100, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs 46,076 per 10 g, the price of 18-carat gold is Rs 37,726 per 10 g, and the price of 14-carat gold is roughly Rs 29,426 per 10 g.
