Gold Rate Today: On Mahanavami, the day before Durga Puja, there is a significant spike in the price of gold and silver. Along with gold, the price of silver has increased significantly on this ninth day of Navratri.
Silver is seeing a significant increase of Rs 3827, while gold has increased in price by Rs 782 today. Following this increase, gold is selling over Rs. 51,000 and silver is selling over Rs. 61,000. Silver, meanwhile, has decreased in price from its peak by roughly Rs. 18000 per kg and gold by about Rs. 5000 per 10 g.

Statuses of Gold and Silver on IBJA
Gold increased in price by Rs 782 per ten grams on Tuesday (October 4), the second trading day of current trading week, and opened at Rs 51169 per ten grams, according to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA). In contrast, gold increased in price by Rs 299 per ten grams on Monday’s final trading day, closing at Rs 50387 per 10 grams.
At the same time, today’s silver (Silver Price Update) increased in price, closing at Rs. 3827 per kg after starting the day at Rs. 61144 per kg. On the other hand, on Monday’s final trading day, silver increased in price by Rs. 680 and ended the day at Rs. 57317 per kg.
Silver and Gold Prices on the MCX
Contrary to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading down today on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), while silver is trading higher. Gold is now at a price of Rs 50,130 on the MCX, down Rs 35 from yesterday. While silver has increased by Rs 798 to trade at Rs 61,709.
From all-time highs, gold 5000 and silver 18000 are becoming less expensive.
Compared to its all-time peak, gold is currently selling for around Rs 5031 per 10 grammes less. August 2020 became the highest point in history. At that time, the price of gold had increased to Rs 56,200 for 10 grams. Silver was also depreciating at a pace of approximately Rs 18836 per kilogram from its peak. Silver is now priced at Rs. 79980 per kilogramme. In such a scenario, people who intend to purchase gold or silver may find that this presents a favourable time to do so.
Gold price from 14 to 24 carats
As a result, the current price for 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 51169, 10 grams of 23 carat gold is Rs 50964, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 46871, 10 grams of 18 carat gold are Rs 38377, and 10 grams of 14 carat gold are around Rs 29934.

Conditions for gold and silver on the global market
Similar to the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are currently trading briskly on the global market. In the US, gold is currently trading for $1,704.47 per ounce, up $3.51. Silver, on the other hand, is currently trading at a level of $ 21.01 per ounce with a gain of $0.23.
