Gold Rate Today: The advent of the holiday season has caused gold and silver prices to increase once more. Today, on the eighth day of Navratri, silver prices have increased with gold prices.
Silver has increased in price by Rs. 930 while gold has increased in price by Rs. 89 today. Following this increase, gold is now selling for roughly Rs. 50391 and silver for about Rs. 56338. Along with this, from their all-time highs, gold is now around Rs. 5800 per 10 grams cheaper than before, and silver is about Rs. 23600 per kg.
Statuses of Gold and Silver on IBJA
On Monday, October 3, the first day of current trading week, gold increased in price by Rs 89 per ten kilos and opened at Rs. 50391, according to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA). Gold’s price increased by Rs 299 per ten kilos and concluded at Rs 50302 per gram on Friday, the last trading day.
On the other side, today’s price of silver increased to Rs. 930 per kg opened at Rs. 56338 per kg. On the other hand, on Friday’s final trading day, silver increased in price by Rs. 680 and ended the day at Rs. 56338 per kg.
Silver and Gold Prices on the MCX
These days, gold and silver are traded on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), just like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA). Gold is currently trading at Rs. 50,187 on the MCX after rising in price by Rs 93. While silver is up Rs. 992 and trading at a level of Rs. 57,850.
From all-time highs, gold 5800 and silver 23600 are becoming less expensive.
Compared to its all-time high, gold is currently selling for around Rs 5809 per 10 grams less. August 2020 became the highest point in gold’s history. At that time, the price of gold had increased to Rs. 56,200 for 10 kilos. Silver was also declining in price at a rate of roughly Rs. 23642 per kilogram from its peak. Silver is now priced at Rs. 79980 per kilogram. In such a scenario, people who intend to purchase gold or silver may find that this presents a favourable time to do so.
Price of 14 to 24 carat gold
Accordingly, the current price for 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs. 50391, 10 grams of 23 carat gold is Rs. 50189, 10 kilos of 22 carat gold are Rs. 46158, 10 grams of 18 carat gold are Rs. 37793, and 10 grams of 14 carat gold are around Rs. 29479.
Conditions for gold and silver on the global market
Similar to the Indian bullion market, gold is currently trading quickly on the global market as well. In the US, gold is currently trading at $1,667.43 per ounce, up $3.13. Silver, on the other hand, is currently trading at $ 18.43 per ounce with a gain of $0.32.
