Gold Rate Today: A well-diversified investment portfolio should include gold since it reacts favourably to events that cause paper assets like shares and bonds to depreciate in value. Gold’s worth hasn’t changed over the long term, despite regular short-term price fluctuations. The historical protection that gold has historically offered against inflation and the depreciation of significant currencies makes it an investment that is unquestionably worthwhile. The current price of gold in India is Rs 5,450 per gram for 22k gold and Rs 5,945 per gram for 24k gold, commonly known as 999 gold.
