Gold Rate Today: On the MCX, gold futures with a maturity date of June 5, 2023, experienced a slight decline of Rs 94 or 0.16 percent and were trading at Rs 60,223 per 10 grammes. Silver futures with a maturity date of May 5, 2023 saw a rise of Rs 60, or 0.8%, and were now trading at Rs 74,377 per kilogramme. Notably, the cost of gold was Rs. 60,261 for 10 grammes and the cost of silver was Rs. 74,263 for a kilogramme.

Gold Rate Today: What’s up on MCX?

Gold futures with a maturity date of June 5, 2023, were trading at Rs 60,465 per 10 grammes, down a negligible Rs 68 (or 0.11%). At Rs 60,488, the previous closing was noted. Silver futures on the MCX with a May 5, 2023, maturity date saw a tiny increase of Rs 75, or 0.10 percent, and were trading at Rs 74,936 per kilogramme.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.

This is an exchange for commodities like the BSE is for stocks and shares. The MCX sells the products in bulk.

The price of gold has increased today compared to yesterday, according to IBJA. The price of gold has increased from Rs 55121 per 10 kilos yesterday evening to Rs 55286 per 10 grammes today. The cost of silver, on the other hand, silver is increased from Rs. 64407 per kg. to Rs. 64646 per kg.
