Gold Rate Today: Both gold and silver are trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange’s lower side (MCX). Gold futures, which expire on April 5, 2023, fell by Rs 11 or 0.02 percent on the MCX and were trading at Rs 56,920 per 10 grammes. Similarly, silver futures for March 3, 2023, were trading at Rs 66,398 per kg on the MCX, down Rs 424 or 0.64 percent.

Gold Rate Today: What’s up on MCX?

On MCX, Gold futures, maturing on April 5, 2023, witnessed a downfall of Rs 61 or 0.11 per cent, and were trading at Rs 56,760 per 10 grams.

On the other hand, silver futures, maturing on March 3, 2023, were retailing at Rs 66,755 per kg, after recording a marginal hike of Rs 21 or 0.03 per cent.

During August 2020, gold price touched Rs 57,191 per 10 grams on MCX. Gold was seen at Rs 56,981 per 10 grams on MCX this morning. That means gold is getting only 210 rupees cheaper than the record price.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.

This is an exchange for commodities like the BSE is for stocks and shares. The MCX sells the products in bulk. 

The price for the asset depends upon various factors and is not determined at MCX. The MCX Silver rates are set by trading activity and a bunch of different other factors.

Gold Rate Today: As per IBJA, these are the prices of gold and silver

The price of gold and silver has decreased today compared to yesterday, according to IBJA. The price of gold has decreased from Rs 57365 per 10 kilos yesterday evening to Rs 57476 per 10 grammes today. The cost of silver, on the other hand, dropped from Rs. 67494 per kg. last evening to Rs. 67194 per kg.
