Gold Rate Today: The festive season has started. In such a situation, if you also want to buy gold or jewelry during festivals, then there is important news for you. On the fourth day of Navratri today, along with gold, the price of silver has registered an increase.
Today gold has become costlier by Rs 505, while silver is seeing a huge rise of Rs 921. At present, gold is selling around Rs 50010 and silver around Rs 55445. Along with this, gold is getting cheaper by Rs 6100 per 10 grams and silver at the rate of about Rs 24500 per kg from all time high.

Statuses of Gold and Silver on IBJA
On Thursday, September 29, the fourth day of this trading week, gold decreased in price by Rs 505 per ten kilos and opened at Rs 50010 per ten grams, according to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA). In contrast, gold dropped in price by Rs 24 per ten grams on Wednesday’s final trading day, closing at Rs. 49505 per gram.
On the other hand, today’s silver (Silver Price Update) began at Rs. 55445 per kg, down Rs. 921 from yesterday. On the other hand, on Wednesday’s final trading day, silver decreased by Rs. 867 and concluded at Rs. 5539 per kilogram.
From all-time highs, gold 6100 and silver 24500 are becoming less expensive.
Compared to its all-time high, gold is currently selling for Rs. 6190 per 10 gram less. August 2020 became the highest point in gold’s history. At that time, the price of gold had increased to Rs. 56,200 for 10 kilos. Silver was also declining in price at a rate of roughly Rs. 24535 per kilogram from its peak. Silver is now priced at Rs. 79980 per kilogram. In such a scenario, people who intend to purchase gold or silver may find that this presents a favourable time to do so.

Price of 14 to 24 carat gold
Thus, the current price of 24 carat gold is Rs. 50010 per 10 grams, followed by 23 carat gold at Rs. 49810, 22 carat gold at Rs. 45809, 18 carat gold at Rs. 37508 per 10 grams, and roughly 14 carat gold. It is currently trading at Rs. 29256 for every 10 grams.
