Gold Rate Update: Yellow metal slips, silver on an upswing, check current rates in your city

Gold Rate Update: Both gold and silver prices decreased today in the Indian market after retailing on the upper side yesterday. The Multi Commodity Exchange’s lower side was where precious metals were exchanged (MCX). Gold futures with a maturity date of June 5, 2023, were trading at Rs 60,679 per 10 grammes, down Rs 269 or 0.4%. The previous close was 60,856 rupees. Likewise, the price of silver futures, which are payable on May 5, 2023, increased by Rs 222, or 0.30 percent, to Rs 74,370 per kg.

Gold Rate Update : What’s up on MCX?

The price of 10 grammes of gold in futures contracts with a maturity date of June 5, 2023, was Rs 60,679, down Rs 269 or 0.4%. 60,856 rupees were the previous close. Silver futures, which are due on May 5, 2023, saw a similar gain in price, rising by Rs 222 (0.30 percent) to Rs 74,370 per kg.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.

This is an exchange for commodities like the BSE is for stocks and shares. The MCX sells the products in bulk. 

The price for the asset depends upon various factors and is not determined at MCX. The MCX Silver rates are set by trading activity and a bunch of different other factors.

The price of gold has decreased today compared to yesterday, according to IBJA. The price of gold has decreased from Rs 60977 per 10 kilos to Rs 60781 per 10 grammes today. The cost of silver, on the other hand, silver is increased from Rs. 73834 per kg. to Rs. 74552 per kg.
