Indian Railways Super App

Indian Railways Super App: The government is developing a super app to streamline numerous railway-related services, which is an exciting prospect for millions of Indian railway passengers, according to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. With just one app, users will be able to book tickets, track trains, check the status of their PNRs, and access other crucial railway services through this new app.

In an interview with News18, Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasised the significant advancements made by Indian Railways in the last ten years, emphasising that the Indian Railways has improved infrastructure, safety, and passenger convenience in particular.

Indian Railways to Launch One Super App for All Railway Services

The upcoming railway super app is anticipated to completely change the way that travellers communicate with Indian Railways. Users will be able to access a variety of services from a single app, including live tracking, train schedules, and ticket purchase.

Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw underlined that the super app would handle all the demands of passengers, making it easy for them to plan and manage their journeys. Without giving away too many specifics, he stated, “From the passenger’s perspective, whatever services one may need will be available on the super app.” The objective is to improve the usability, accessibility, and efficiency of railway services.

Major Infrastructure Growth

In addition to the launch of the super app, Indian Railways has made significant strides in infrastructure development under the NDA government. In the past year alone, more than 5,300 km of railway tracks were laid, which is equivalent to the entire railway network of Switzerland. This expansion showcases the government’s commitment to modernizing and enhancing the railway system for smoother and faster connectivity across the country.
