Income Tax News: There is currently only one day left to file the 2024–25 assessment year Income Tax Return (ITR). The fact that more than four crore ITRs have already been filed shows that taxpayers are serious about the filing procedure. Many taxpayers, nevertheless, still haven’t submitted their ITR. How to Check Refund Status Using PAN Card

- Visit the Official Income Tax E-filing Portal: Go to the official online portal for filing income tax returns.
- Log into Your Account: To access your account, enter the captcha code, PAN, and password.
- Navigate to ‘My Account’: Find the ‘My Account’ section after logging in.
- Select Refund/Demand Status: Select this option to discover details regarding the assessment year, current status, reasons for any refund failures, and mode of payment for your income tax refund.
By following these steps, you can easily check the status of your refund. If there are any discrepancies in the ITR, it will also be displayed.
