Interim Budget 2024
The budget statement for this year will serve as a stand-in until the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the formation of a new government, with no significant announcements made in it.
Like a complete budget, an interim budget is discussed and passed by the Lok Sabha. In contrast, a vote-on-account is approved without a lengthy debate.
