Jio outage: If you are a Jio subscribers and unable to make or receive a call, you are not alone. A Jio outage on Tuesday morning left large number of subscribers unable to make or receive phone calls. SMS services on Jio number too are affected by the outage. Reliance Jio is currently facing a massive outage in the country leaving Jio users unable to make or receive calls. However, internet services of Jio are working fine.

The issue seems to have begun at around 8 am Tuesday morning.
Users take to Twitter
Many users reported outage on Twitter. Some said that they are unable to make any calls and that there has been no VoLTE sign on their devices since morning. Users expressed their frustration as the outage has put them to lot of inconvenience. They said it what does one do if they have to make an urgent call.
Users in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata reported outage. While some users are able to make calls on Reliance Jio number, some are unable to do so. So the issue appears to happen in a rather haphazard manner.

Users report outage
Meanwhile, outage detection website DownDetector has also shown a maximum number of user reports surrounding the Reliance Jio outage. The issue seems to have begun at around 8 am.
However, Reliance Jio has not given any official statement on the outage. The cause of the outage is also unknown at the moment.
