LPG cylinder price hike: Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) surprised customers on the first day of the New Year 2023 by raising the price of LPG cylinders. They have raised the prices of commercial cylinders by up to Rs 25. Domestic cylinder rates, on the other hand, have not altered and will continue to sell at their current levels.
Increase in commercial LPG cylinder prices:
On January 1, 2023, OMCs increased commercial cylinder rates by up to Rs 25. Dining out at restaurants, hotels, and other establishments will become more expensive as a result of the change. However, it will have no effect on commoners’ budgets because residential LPG cylinder costs remain unaltered.
