Noida News: The upcoming Moto GP event in Greater Noida has resulted in a surge in demand for hotel rooms, leading to a considerable increase in room tariffs. A meeting was held on Monday between the event organizers and government officials to address this issue.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Budh International Circuit’s F1 race track from September 22 to 24.
Hotel booking websites have reported a significant rise in hotel rates, with rooms now costing an average of Rs 50,000 for two nights, compared to the earlier range of Rs 7,000-9,000.
While accommodation for the organizing committee members has already been secured, fans and spectators of the Moto GP will now have to face exorbitant costs for their stay in these luxury hotels.
During the meeting, the organizers emphasized the importance of offering reasonable rates, highlighting the fact that this is the first time the Moto GP is being held in India and has already gained a massive fan following.
For the event, tickets were sold for as low as Rs 800 per person
In an effort to provide more affordable options, the organizers suggested that people consider staying in good hotels in Agra, which is approximately one and a half hours away from the venue at the Budh International Circuit.
