Oil marketing companies have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. There has been no change in the prices of fuels in the national market today on January 29, 2022.
The latest in the list is Delhi that reduced the (VAT) on petrol from 30 percent to 19.4 percent, leading to a cut of around Rs 8 per litre. Effective from December 1 at midnight, the VAT cut reduced the petrol price in the city Rs 95.41 per litre.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states are due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.
How to check petrol and diesel price in your city:
Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
