Petrol And Diesel Price Update [18 September, 2023]: No change has been made in fuel price in metropolitan cities on Monday. Petrol and Diesel price has not been changed since 22 May 2022. Oil marketing companies (OMCs) in India, including Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, and Indian Oil, decide the price of petrol and diesel on a daily basis. The daily review procedure started in June 2017. Every day at 6 am, the rates—revised or unchanged—are released.
Fuel rate in metropolitan cities:
- Delhi: Petrol Rs 96.72 and diesel Rs 89.62 per liter
- Kolkata: Petrol Rs 106.03 and diesel Rs 92.76 per liter
- Mumbai: Petrol Rs 106.31 and diesel Rs 94.27 per liter
- Chennai: Petrol Rs 102.74 and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter
Fuel prices in other cities:
Noida
Petrol Rs 97.00 and diesel Rs 90.14 per litre.
Ghaziabad
Petrol Rs 96.58 per litre and diesel Rs 89.75 per litre.
Lucknow
Petrol Rs 96.57 and diesel Rs 89.76 per litre.
Patna
Petrol Rs 107.24 and diesel Rs 94.04 per litre.
Chandigarh
Petrol Rs 96.20 per litre and diesel Rs 84.26 per litre.

If you want to check the new rates of petrol and diesel in your city, you can know through SMS. HPCL customers send message HPPRICE to 9222201122. Indian Oil customers should SMS RSP to number 9224992249. BPCL customers can update the new price by messaging the number 9223112222.
