Petrol And Diesel Price Update: Crude oil prices in the international market continued to rise today, even on 28th July. Even on Friday the price of crude oil was recorded beyond $83 per barrel. For a long time, this price was seen between $ 75 to $ 82 per barrel, but today, for the second consecutive day, crude oil was recorded above $ 83 per barrel. However, the prices of petrol and diesel at the national level in the Indian market are constant.

In the international market this morning, on July 28, the price of Brent crude oil is $ 83.73 per barrel. At the same time, WTI crude is $ 79.59 per barrel. However, even after this, no change has been seen in the oil prices in the Indian market.
Petrol and Diesel Price
In Delhi, a litre of petrol costs 96.72 rupees and a litre of diesel costs 89.62 rupees. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol costs 106.31 rupees and a similar amount of diesel costs 94.27 rupees. Each litre of petrol and diesel costs 106.03 and 92.76 rupees in Kolkata, respectively. These are, however, 102.63 and 94.24 respectively for Chennai.
In fact , since May 21 of last year, when the previous pan-India change to these took place, fuel prices have remained virtually stable.
Additionally, it should be noticed that the prices of fuel and diesel differ from state to state. This is due to factors like value-added tax (VAT), transport expenses, local taxes, etc.
