Petrol And Diesel Price Update [05 October, 2023]: There has been a huge fall in the prices of Brent and Crude in the international level. During the last trading session, there was a decline of about 4 percent in Brent and Crude. The impact of the fall in the prices of Brent and Crude at the international level is still visible on petrol and diesel. There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel even on 5th October.
The central government has not changed the prices of petrol and diesel nationwide, but there have been some changes in the prices of petrol and diesel in different states. This includes Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. In Punjab, petrol has become cheaper by 48 paise, while in Rajasthan, the price of petrol has increased by 6 paise. Apart from this, the prices of petrol and diesel in Uttar Pradesh have increased by 10 paise.
Fuel rate in metropolitan cities:
The price of petrol in New Delhi was Rs 96.72 and diesel 89.62, in Mumbai the price of petrol was Rs 106.31 and diesel 94.27, in Kolkata the price of petrol was Rs 106.03 and diesel 92.76 and in Chennai the price of petrol was Rs 102.74 and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter.
