Petrol and diesel price update [7 December, 2022]: In view of the continuous decline in the price of crude oil on the international market, Indian oil marketing corporations have today announced the most recent prices for petrol and diesel. On Wednesday, Indian oil companies maintained constant pricing for petrol and diesel (December 7).

In India, the price of petrol and diesel has not changed for the past 199 days in a row. As a result, there has been some relief for the ordinary man in terms of inflation.

On the worldwide market, the cost of crude oil has decreased. WTI crude is now priced at $78 per barrel, while Brent crude is now priced at $85 per barrel.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states is due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.

Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
