Petrol And Diesel Price Update [08 October, 2023]: No change has been made by The government oil companies. The last change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country was in May 2022. Every morning at 6:00 A.M., fuel prices are updated. The dynamic fuel price system which came to effect in India in June 2017, involves daily revisions to the price of fuel.
Fuel rate in metropolitan cities:
The price of petrol in New Delhi was Rs 96.72 and diesel 89.62, in Mumbai the price of petrol was Rs 106.31 and diesel 94.27, in Kolkata the price of petrol was Rs 106.03 and diesel 92.76 and in Chennai the price of petrol was Rs 102.74 and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter.
How to check fuel rate in your city:
If you want to check the new rates of petrol and diesel in your city, you can know through SMS. HPCL customers send message HPPRICE to 9222201122. Indian Oil customers should SMS RSP to number 9224992249. BPCL customers can update the new price by messaging the number 9223112222.
