Petrol And Diesel Price Update [1 August, 2023]: The oil companies have updated the price of fuel on the first day of August. Yesterday, after the trading time, there was a rise in the prices of crude oil. Brent crude climbed 0.25 per cent to $85.20 a barrel. Despite the cost of crude oil, today the oil companies have not increased the prices of petrol and diesel, giving relief to the customers. The price of petrol and diesel has remained constant at the national level since May 2022.
Petrol and Diesel Price in metropolitan cities:
- Petrol is available at Rs 96.72 and diesel at Rs 89.62 per liter in New Delhi.
- Petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per liter in Mumbai.
- Petrol is available at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per liter in Chennai.
- Petrol is available at Rs 106.03 and diesel at Rs 92.76 per liter in Kolkata.
- Petrol is available at Rs 101.94 and diesel at Rs 87.89 per liter in Bangalore.

How to check petrol and diesel price in your city:
Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
