Petrol And Diesel Price Update [01 October, 2023]: There is a slight decline in the prices of crude oil in the international market. WTI crude is being sold at $ 90.77 per barrel with a decline of 1 percent around 6 am. At the same time, Brent crude is also trading 1 percent weaker at $ 92.09 per barrel. However, despite this decline, the prices of petrol and diesel still remain stable in the country. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am.
There has been a slight decline in the prices of petrol and diesel in some states of the country, while in some states there has been no change in the prices. Earlier, the prices of petrol and diesel were changed every fortnight, that is, there was a change in the price of petrol and diesel on the 1st and 16th of every month. However, from June 2017 onwards a new scheme was implemented under which petrol prices are being revised every morning at 6 am.
Fuel rate in metropolitan cities:
The price of petrol in New Delhi was Rs 96.72 and diesel 89.62, in Mumbai the price of petrol was Rs 106.31 and diesel 94.27, in Kolkata the price of petrol was Rs 106.03 and diesel 92.76 and in Chennai the price of petrol was Rs 102.74 and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter.
Petrol and diesel price in other cities:
In Uttar Pradesh, petrol has become Rs 96.48 and diesel Rs 89.55 per liter. – In Bihar, petrol has become Rs 109.33 and diesel Rs 95.82 per liter. – In Madhya Pradesh, petrol has become Rs 109.95 and diesel Rs 94.89 per liter. – In Chhattisgarh, petrol has become Rs 103.08 and diesel Rs 95.96 per liter. In Tamil Nadu, petrol has become Rs 103.58 and diesel Rs 95.25 per liter.
