Petrol And Diesel Price Update: No changes in fuel rate on Sunday

Petrol And Diesel Price Update: The price of petrol and diesel is reviewed daily in India by the oil marketing companies (OMCs), Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, and Indian Oil. New or unchanged prices are released each day at six in the morning. As a result, on Sunday the OMCs maintained fuel prices at their current levels in the majority of large cities, with minor revisions noted in certain areas.

In fact, since May 21 of last year, when the previous nationwide revision to these rates took place, the price of petrol and diesel has been constant.

Petrol and diesel prices in major cities

A litre of petrol and diesel are sold for 96.72 and 89.62 rupees, respectively, in Delhi, and 106.31 and 94.27 rupees, respectively, in Mumbai. Customers must pay 106.03 in Kolkata and 102.63 in Chennai for one liter of petrol. In these two cities, you will need to pay 92.76 and 94.24, respectively, for an equal amount of diesel.

However, it should be noted that fuel prices differ from state to state. This is due to factors like value-added tax (VAT), shipping costs, local taxes, etc.
