Petrol And Diesel Price Update [11 November, 2023]: Today, a day before Diwali, the prices of petrol and diesel are stable. Amid the fall in the prices of crude in the international market, oil marketing companies have released the retail prices of petrol and diesel. In many cities of the country, there has been no major change in the prices of petrol and diesel as compared to yesterday. Petrol has become cheaper by 0.14 paise and diesel by 0.13 paise in Chennai.
At the same time, in Chhattisgarh both petrol and diesel have become cheaper by 0.47 paise per liter. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.
Prices in metropolitan cities:
Right now, a litre of petrol costs Rs 96.72 in Delhi, while a litre of diesel costs Rs 89.62. In contrast, a litre of diesel costs Rs 94.27 and a litre of petrol costs Rs 106.31 in Mumbai. In Kolkata, a litre of petrol costs Rs 106.03, while a litre of diesel costs Rs 92.76. However, in Chennai, a litre of diesel is sold for Rs 94.24 and a litre of petrol for Rs 102.63.
