Petrol and Diesel Prices Update: Yesterday the global oil benchmark Brent crude was trading at 75.25 US dollars per barrel, increasing by 1.62 percent, after which this morning the oil companies have fixed the price of petrol and diesel for every small and big cities of the country.
Fuel Rate In Major Cities:
According to IOCL, in the capital city Delhi, the price of one liter of petrol stands at ₹96.72, while diesel is priced at ₹89.62 per liter. Moving to the economic capital Mumbai, petrol is priced at ₹106.31 per liter, and diesel at ₹94.27 per liter. In Chennai, petrol costs ₹102.63 per liter, and diesel is priced at ₹94.24 per liter. Kolkata sees petrol at ₹106.03 per liter and diesel at ₹92.76 per liter.
How To Check Petrol and Diesel Prices Update:
To check fuel prices in your city through SMS, state governments apply Value Added Tax (VAT) based on their calculations, resulting in varying fuel prices. Indian Oil (IOCL) customers can send an SMS with the RSP code to 9224992249 to get daily petrol and diesel prices.
