Royal Enfield: The sales data for September has now been made public by Royal Enfield. The business last month experienced a startling annual rise of 144.85%. The business sold 33,529 units in September 2021. This number went up to 82,097 units in September 2022. In other words, the business sold more than 48,568 items.
The corporation, however, had degrowth in the sector over 350cc while it experienced growth in the 350cc market. The Classic 350 and the brand-new Hunter 350 are thought to have been the most popular models, despite the fact that the business has not yet disclosed sales breakdown information.
Hunter 350 dominated in August
Royal Enfield also enjoyed a successful August. The business had grown by 33.21% each month and 58.64% annually. The newly released Hunter 350 played the most significant part in the company’s expansion. There were 18,197 sales of this motorcycle. The unique aspect is that the Classic 350 and Hunter 350, two of Royal Enfield’s most popular models, were separated by only 796 units.
The Classic 350 had almost been overtaken by the Hunter 350. The Meteor 350, Bullet 350, Electra 350, Himalayan, and 650 Twins, some of Enfield’s other potent cars, lagged far behind in its wake. The Hunter 350 has a market share of 29.36% in its first month of sales.
In demand: Inside as well as outside the country
Outside of the country as well as inside, there is a need for Royal Enfield. Last month, the company’s exports increased both monthly and yearly. Royal Enfield exported 8,451 units in August, up 34.23% year over year. Therefore, it had a gain in monthly exports of 17.05%. This annual growth in domestic sales was 170.43%, and the monthly growth was 17.10%.
