Sensex and Nifty of the Indian stock market closed in the green mark on the last day of the week. On the basis of Friday’s gains, both the indices registered gains for the fifth consecutive day and strengthened throughout the week. The Nifty easily managed to close above 12,2000 on the basis of good bounce. The BSE’s index Sensex had also reached close to 42000 at one time. After the clarity in US election results, both indexes showed an increase of around 1.20% amid decreasing volatility.
The BSE Sensex gained over 500 points in early trade on the back of a surge in the shares of Reliance Industries, Infosys and SBI amid strong signals from the global markets. The 30-share BSE Sensex gained 513.84, or 1.27 per cent, to 41,129.98. The NSE Nifty also gained 143.20 points, or 1.20 percent, to 12,051.70.

Bulls had a good hold in the stock market throughout the day on Friday. The market rose more than 1% on the second day amid signs of Biden’s victory. On the basis of good signals from foreign markets, the Indian market also saw a boom.
