Deepinder Goyal’s Controversy Surrounding Shark Tank India Season 4

The excitement around Shark Tank India Season 4 goes beyond the introduction of a new shark. The show is facing controversy after Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal claimed he was left out of the upcoming season. According to Goyal, his exclusion was due to a sponsorship deal between Shark Tank India and Swiggy, Zomato’s competitor.

Deepinder shared his thoughts, saying, “The startup culture of India is too much about showmanship. I went there to set a different narrative, to be real and change how people perceive entrepreneurs. I felt a moral obligation to go there. I shot for one weekend and gave my perspective. Unfortunately, I can’t return because Swiggy sponsored Shark Tank and, as per what I heard, that led to my exclusion.” His statements have sparked conversations among fans, some calling it unfair, while others are questioning the corporate influence on the show.
