Power company Skipper Limited announced on Friday that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has given it additional orders totaling Rs. 2,570 crore.The agreement is for the supply and construction of ground-based telecom towers, as well as for the supply, installation, and subsequent operation and maintenance (O&M) of infrastructure items (operations and maintenance).

According to a statement by Skipper Limited, the projects will be carried out in Rajasthan and Odisha using a capex and opex model for a period of five years, with the ability to be extended for an additional five years in uncovered villages.
Projects to be executed using home grown 4G stack , will be funded through Government of India’s Universal Service Obligation Fund
