SpiceJet’s enhanced surveillance regime by DGCA has been removed

SpiceJet’s enhanced surveillance regime by DGCA has been removed. The decision was taken after 51 spot checks were carried out at 11 locations on the Spice Boeing 737 and Q-400 fleet. A total of 23 aircraft were inspected during this period and DGCA teams carried out 95 observations.

It was informed by a senior official that the DGCA has decided to take SpiceJet out of the monitoring system. Also said that due to accidents in monsoon last year, it was decided to bring it under monitoring system.

As part of the surveillance system, 51 spot checks have been carried out on SpiceJet’s fleet of Boeing 737 and Bombardier DHC Q-400 aircraft at 11 locations across the country. A total of 23 aircraft have been inspected.

SpiceJet shares rose 5 percent

As soon as the DGCA removed the surveillance from SpiceJet, there was a sharp rise in the shares of the company. SpiceJet’s shares climbed up to 5 per cent, while later there was some recovery in it. Let us tell you that the shares of the company opened with a slight gain in the morning, but after a good news, there was a sharp rise in it.
