Stock Market Today: The GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX fell by 19.5 points, or 0.09 percent, to 21,466.50, indicating that Dalal Street would likely have a poor start to the day. On the daily chart, the Nifty finished 38 points lower, forming a Bullish Harami candle that suggested a pause in the momentum. The index closed below the 20-day moving average and made lower highs. As investors anticipated the Bank of Japan’s major policy announcement later in the day, Tokyo stocks opened lower on Tuesday.In early trading, the benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.09 percent, or 30.65 points, to 32,728.33, while the Topix index as a whole fell 0.15 percent, or 3.49 points, to 2,313.37.

Sun Pharma

For $30 million, the business has agreed to purchase a 16.7% share in Lyndra Therapeutics, a company based in Massachusetts. Lyndra creates innovative delivery systems for oral medications with a long half-life.

Apollo Tyres

In an effort to raise $100 million, White Iris Investment, a Warburg Pincus affiliate, may sell a 3% stake with the option to increase. It is anticipated that the floor price will be Rs. 440 per share, or 2% less than Monday’s closing price.

Bitcoin

A year ahead of schedule, its subsidiary Biocon Biologics has successfully completed the transition of the acquired biosimilar business in approximately 120 countries.

Vedanta

A second interim dividend of ₹11 per share for FY24 has been approved by the mining and metals major. The total payout is 4,089 crore rupees.
