Stock Market Today: The GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX fell by nearly 43 points and declined to 22,086. It shows that Dalal Street will likely have a poor start to the week. The 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex closed at 72,664. It represents that it is up by 260 points. In the meantime, the larger NSE Nifty closed at 22,055 which means 0.44%. In the stock market, Hindustan Zinc gained notice after rising by almost 15% to a new all-time high. Escorts Kubota, meantime, had a noteworthy gain of more than 3% on Friday, bolstering its recent momentum.

Tata Motors

Part of the Tata Group, Tata Motors Limited is an Indian multinational automotive corporation with its headquarters located in Mumbai. The company manufactures buses, vans, lorries, and vehicles. For the quarter that ended in March 2024, automaker Tata Motors posted a combined net profit of Rs 17,529 crore, up 46% from the previous year.

Bank of Baroda

With its main office located in Vadodara, Gujarat, Bank of Baroda (BOB) is a multinational public sector bank controlled by the Indian government. It has 153 million customers as of March 2023, a total business of US$291 billion as of March 2024, and 100 abroad branches worldwide, making it the second largest Public Sector Bank in India after State Bank of India. For the quarter that ended in March 2024, state lender Bank of Baroda (BoB) recorded a 2% increase in its standalone net profit of Rs 4886 crore.
