The GIFT Nifty shows a positive start to the week for the domestic indices, NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex.

Stock Market Today: The domestic indices NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex has a positive start. It is indicated by the GIFT Nifty, which is up 47 points at 22,710. As of today, shares are trading in the Asia-Pacific region in a mixed bag. The S&P BSE Sensex fell by 0.9% to close at 73,885 points. However the NSE Nifty 50 finished the day down by about 1% to close at 22,488 points. The benchmark indices has their lowest performance in three weeks during this session. On yesterday, domestic blue-chip indices continued to fall for a fifth straight session, mostly as a result of the slump in IT and metal companies. The NSE Nifty50 index finished the day below 22,500, and the S&P BSE Sensex finished the day 0.83% lower at 73,885.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited is a Chennai-based Indian global healthcare group. It is India’s largest for-profit private hospital network, comprising 71 owned and operated institutions. Apollo Hospitals, a leading hospital network, recorded a 77% increase in overall net profit to Rs 258 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2024.

With its headquarters located in Delhi, Hero MotoCorp Limited is a multinational Indian producer of motorcycles and scooters. It is among the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers in the world and commands a about 46% market share in the Indian two-wheeler sector. Hero MotoCorp is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the world’s best-selling motorbike by introducing the Splendour+ XTEC 2.0, the most recent iteration of the legendary Splendour.
