Stock Market Today: The Gift Nifty was trading at 24,290, which was about 200 points higher than the previous close of the Nifty futures. This suggests that the Indian stock market indices are off to a strong start. After yesterday’s stock market meltdown, the Sensex and Nifty 50 domestic equity market indices are predicted to open higher today. Following a meltdown in the previous session, Asian markets saw a rise today as the Japanese stock indices recovered most of the losses from yesterday.

Bharti Airtel

Airtel, also referred to as Bharti Airtel Limited, is a multinational Indian provider of telecommunications services with its headquarters situated in New Delhi. Airtel currently covers all of India with 5G, 4G, and LTE Advanced services. Depending on the country of operation, phone and fixed-line broadband services are currently available. Telecom giant Bharti Airtel reported a 158% increase in consolidated net profit for the first quarter of this year, at Rs 4,160 crore.

Lupin

International pharmaceutical business Lupin Limited is based in India. According to global revenue, it is among the biggest generic pharmaceutical firms. Diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular, anti-infectives, paediatrics, and anti-tuberculosis are among the company’s main areas of interest. In an attempt to recover Rs 672.4 crore in taxes and penalties, the Maharashtra GST administration sent Lupin a show-cause notice.
