Stock Market Today: The local indices NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex had a poor start to the day as the GIFT Nifty is trading down by 19 points at 24,636. In the first quarter of FY25, Jio Financial Services reported a net profit of Rs 312.63 crore, up from Rs 310.63 crore in the previous quarter. Investors in foreign exchanges (FIIs) purchased shares valued at Rs 2,684.78 crore. On July 15, 2024, however, domestic institutional investors (DII) sold shares with a net worth of Rs 331 crore, based on preliminary NSE data.

Jio Financial Services

An Indian financial services provider, Jio Financial Services Limited was formerly a Reliance Industries (RIL) subsidiary. The business offers financial services, such as insurance broking and payment services. The net profit increased to Rs 312.6 crore in Q1FY25 from Rs 310.6 crore, a 0.64 percent increase. From Rs 418.1 crore to Rs 417.8 crore, its income decreased by 0.07 percent.

Lupin

An international pharmaceutical business established in Mumbai, India is called Lupin Limited. According to global revenue, it is among the biggest generic pharmaceutical firms. For up to $84 million, Lupin sold its US Commercial Women’s Health Specialty business to Evofem Biosciences Inc., with the intention of commercialising SOLOSEC (secnidazole) 2g oral granules.
