Stock Market Today: The Gift Nifty is trading at 24,190, while writing, which is more than 100 points above the previous closing of the Nifty futures. This suggests that the Indian stock market indices are off to a strong start. Under mixed global market indications, the domestic equities indices, the Sensex and Nifty 50, are anticipated to open higher on Wednesday. Wednesday’s uneven trading on Asian markets followed Wall Street’s overnight advances and came ahead of China’s trade data.

Tata Power

Tata Power firm Limited is a member of the Tata Group and an Indian electric utility and energy generation firm. With 14,707 MW of installed power generation capacity, of which 5847 MW come from non-conventional (green) energy sources and the remaining amount from thermal sources, it is the largest integrated power company in India. Tata Power announced a consolidated net profit for the quarter that ended on June 30, 2024, of Rs 1,189 crore, an increase of more than 4% over the previous year.

Lupin

As measured by sales, Lupin Limited, a multinational pharmaceutical company based in India, ranks among the biggest generic pharmaceutical businesses worldwide. The company’s primary areas of focus are diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular, anti-infectives, paediatrics, and anti-tuberculosis. Lupin’s first-quarter revenues were Rs 5,600 crore, with a net profit of Rs 801.3 crore.
