Stock Market Today: The Nifty 50 index’s early predictor, the GIFT Nifty futures, is up by 10 points and reached at 23,386 prior to Dalal Street’s opening bell. The national benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, are expected to open higher during today’s session that tracks GIFT Nifty futures. One day before US Fed Chairman Jerome Powell’s speech, the US market concluded on a mixed note. The NASDAQ and S&P 500 finished at record high levels after gaining 0.3% and 0.1%, respectively. However, the Dow Jones fell 0.1%.

Nestle India
The Indian division of the international Swiss corporation Nestle is called Nestle India Limited. The company’s main office is in Haryana’s Gurgaon. The company sells chocolate, confections, drinks, and other items. FMCG giant Nestle India announced an interim dividend for FY25 of Rs 2.75 per share. Additionally, the continuation of its 4.5% royalty payment to its Swiss parent has been accepted by its shareholders.
Godrej Consumer Products
An Indian multinational consumer goods firm with its headquarters in Mumbai is called Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL). Shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and liquid detergents are among the goods offered by GCPL. In terms of value, Godrej Consumer had high single-digit increase in the first quarter, but double-digit growth in quantities.
