Stock Market Today: An early SGX Nifty, or Gift Nifty, indicates a flat start. The Gift Nifty’s Nifty futures saw a 4 point trade at 22,922. With investors anxiously awaiting a big U.S. jobs report that may provide clues about when the Federal Reserve could decide to raise interest rates, the dollar continued to hover around an eight-week low today. Building on yesterday’s advances of more than 3%, the S&P BSE Sensex rose by 0.93% to reach 75,074 points. However, the NSE Nifty 50 index closed 0.89% higher at 22,821 points.

Hero MotoCorp

India’s Hero MotoCorp Limited is a multinational manufacturer of scooters and motorcycles. For roughly Rs 124 crore, the Board of Hero MotoCorp, the company that has the largest investment in Ather Energy, approved the acquisition of a 2.2% stake in the manufacturer of electric scooters. With a market share of over 46% in the Indian two-wheeler sector, it is among the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers in the world.

ICICI Bank

The international bank and financial services provider ICICI Bank Limited is based in India. In response to ICICI Bank’s outreach on the delisting of ICICI Securities, the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has issued a warning. It provides a broad array of banking and financial services in the domains of investment banking, life and non-life insurance, to both corporate and retail clients via a variety of delivery channels and specialised subsidiaries.
