Stock Market Today: On the NSE IX, the GIFT Nifty fell by 35 points and declined to 22,659. It states that Dalal Street is likely to have a poor start. With a gain of 267.75 points, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 74,221.06. For the fifth straight day, the NSE Nifty is up 68.75 points and made its way to settle at 22,597.80. It is on the way of its continuous upward trend. The banks and metals shares saw decreases, but the FMCG and real estate sectors helped the market rise. KNR Constructions, Ujjivan Financial Services, Infosys, Emami, and Olectra Greentech are the five stocks that are recommended for today.

Power Grid Corporation
The Ministry of Power, Government of India, is the owner of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a central public sector enterprise. Its primary activity is the transmission of bulk power between India’s several states. Its main office is in Gurugram. Approximately half of the power generated in India is sent via Power Grid’s transmission network. In the March 2024 quarter, state-owned Power Grid reported a nearly 4% decrease in its consolidated net profit to Rs 4,166 crore, primarily as a result of a little reduction in income.
Grasim
After 76 magnificent years of existence, Grasim has come to an end. It was founded in 1947 and began operations as an Indian textile business. It has developed into a major, diverse business today, exhibiting leadership in numerous industries. The Aditya Birla Group company Grasim Ltd. announced a 39% increase in its consolidated net profit (excluding exceptional item) for the quarter ending in March 2024, coming in at Rs 1,908 crore.
