Stock Market Today: The metal and real estate sectors are the top performers as Sensex and Nifty close higher despite turbulence. The GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX traded higher and gives a muted start for today. In spite of turbulence, the Indian equity market ended the day on a bullish note on June 20, with the Nifty closing above 23,550, driven by metal, oil and gas, and real estate companies. The Sensex had increased by 141.34 points and reached at 77,478.93 at the end, while the Nifty had increased by 51 points and made its way to reach at 23,567.

Yes Bank
Yes Bank is a Mumbai-based private sector bank serving consumers, MSMEs, and corporate customers in India. Its network, which includes 1,198 branches, 193 BCBOs, and 1,287+ ATMs, is dispersed throughout 300 districts in India. On June 25, the YES Bank Board of Directors will convene to discuss and possibly accept a proposal for debt instrument issuance as a means of obtaining funds.
IndiGo
The low-cost airline InterGlobe Aviation Limited, operating under the name IndiGo, is based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. With 61.6% of the domestic market as of May 2024, it is the biggest airline in India in terms of both passengers carried and fleet size. Under the airline’s Cadet Pilot Programme, low-cost carrier IndiGo announced that it has teamed up with Garuda Aviation Academy to train new pilots who would eventually become junior first officers.
