Stock Market Today: The Gift Nifty was trading at a premium of around thirty points above the previous closing of the Nifty futures, at 24,550. The Indian benchmark index is off to a good start, based on Gift Nifty’s movements. Ahead of today’s parliament session featuring the introduction of the Union Budget 2024, the Indian stock market indices are probably going to open higher. In anticipation of the Union Budget 2024, the domestic equity benchmark indices finished down yesterday.

Coal India

The Ministry of Coal, Government of India, owns Coal India Limited (CIL), a central public sector undertaking in India. It is the world’s biggest producer of coal owned by the government. In the race for the Khattali Chotti graphite block in the MP district of Alirajpur, Coal India has emerged as the preferred bidder and opened an account in a domestic essential mineral asset.

TCS

An Indian multinational provider of information technology (IT) services and consulting is called Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). It is a member of the Tata Group and has operations in 46 countries and 150 locations. TCS stated that it employed 601,546 people globally as of March 2024. To further its sustainable initiatives, TCS increased its collaboration with Rolls Royce, a British multinational corporation that specialises in both civil and defence aerospace.
