Stock Market Today: Amid largely positive global cues, domestic indices may open in the green. Early in the morning trade, the GIFT Nifty futures were trading 10 points, or 0.05%, lower at 19,548. China’s Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.05%, South Korea’s KOSPI increased by 1.32%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng increased by 0.24%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 increased by 0.04%, and the Asia Dow increased by 0.44%.

US Markets ended up green

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), the S&P 500, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq all closed Thursday’s trading session in the green. The Nifty 50 increased by 29.45 points, or 0.15%, to 19,413.75 on Thursday, and the Sensex increased by 164.99 points, or 0.25%, to 65,558.89. In terms of sectoral indexes, Bank Nifty increased by 0.06%, Nifty IT increased by 1.75%, and Nifty Realty increased by 1.02%, while Nifty Auto, Nifty Pharma, Nifty PSU Bank, and Nifty Oil & Gas all decreased.

TTK Healthcare

On Thursday, a pharmaceutical business said that it has increased the floor price for delisting equity shares from Rs. 1,051.31 to Rs. 1,201.30, in accordance with stock exchange regulations. According to the company, its founders have suggested buying about 36 lakh equity shares—or 25.44 percent of the entire issued equity share capital of TTK Healthcare—from the company’s public shareholders.

Wipro

Gives a revenue growth prediction for the September quarter that is in line with forecasts, ranging from -2 to +1 percent. Although the management claims it is challenging to predict the second half, they do not believe that the market is getting worse. In the December quarter of the fiscal year 2024, there will be another pay increase.

GMR Power & Urban Infra

Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. and Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. have given a step-down subsidiary a letter of intent to install, integrate, and maintain 75.69 lakh smart metres in these locations.The subsidiary took part in the electronic tender and won the project, which will last for ten years.
