Stock Market Today: Nifty, Sensex likely to open strong, SGX NIFTY predicts a bullish start

Stock Market Today: Global markets are sending conflicting signals. The SGX NIFTY is trading almost 30 points higher. Asia is involved in the MIX industry. The American markets’ sluggishness is still present in this area. Closed in a flat manner. Ipca has declared its intention to acquire 33.38% of Unichem Lab. There will be a 1034 crore deal. For a 26% ownership, there would be an open offer priced at Rs. 440 a share. Results from two major FMCG businesses will be released today. Tata Consumer’s sales and profit are anticipated to increase by 11%, while Nestle’s revenue and profit are anticipated to increase by 12% and 13.5%, respectively, while volume growth is anticipated to be between 3-4%. The domestic economy is predicted to expand by 10-12%.

Key Support and Resistance Levels for Nifty

The initial Nifty support is around 17649, and the next two significant supports are at 17616 and 17561. Resistance for the index’s upward movement could be seen at 17758, followed by 17791 and 17845. Nifty Bank’s initial point of support is at 42370, followed by 42265 and 42095. The index may encounter resistance at 42710, followed by 42815 and 42985 if it moves higher.

Stock Market Today: US Market Updates

The performance of the companies is being watched by investors in the US market. Particularly, businesses like Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta are due to announce their results for the March quarter. S&P gained 0.09%, and Dow Jones finished the day up 0.20%. The Nasdaq index, however, ended the day down about 0.29 percent. The price of stock futures is currently flat as well.

The cash market is still being sold by foreign investors. Foreign institutional investors sold shares in the cash market on Monday, the opening day of the week, for a total of Rs 412 crore. Foreign investors had sold Rs 2,116 crore prior to this on April 21. Institutional investors from within India made a 1,177 crore rupee investment concurrently.
