Stock Market Today: Due to encouraging global cues, domestic equities indices may open in the green on Friday. In the early morning trade, the Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) were trading 35 points, or 0.20%, higher at 17,452.50. The Shanghai Composite index in China increased by 0.46%, the Nikkei 225 in Japan up by 0.48%, the Hang Seng in Hong Kong increased by 0.08%, and the KOSPI in South Korea increased by 0.02% as Asian markets traded in the green.
Stock Market Today: US Market
The US market closed Friday’s trading session with significant gains: the tech-heavy Nasdaq jumped 1.74%, the S&P 500 rose 1.44%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.26%. NSE Nifty 50 increased by 279.05 points, or 1.63%, to 17,359.75 on Friday, and BSE Sensex increased by 1031.43 points, or 1.78%, to 58,991.52. Bank Nifty increased by 698.50 points or 1.75% to 40,608.65 in the sectors indexes, and Nifty IT increased by 2.45%.
Asian markets trade in green

On March 31, according to preliminary statistics from the National Stock Exchange, domestic institutional investors (DII) purchased shares worth Rs 2479.96 crore, while foreign institutional investors (FII) purchased shares worth Rs 357.86 crore.
