Stock Market Update: The effect of the flat closing of the US market and the rise in SGX Nifty and Dow futures was seen on the Indian market. After the holiday of Vijay Dashami, both Sensex and Nifty started trading with green marks.
At the beginning of the trading session, the 30-share Sensex rose 248.58 points to open at 58,314.05. Apart from this, opening was also seen in 50-share Nifty.
On the other hand, SGX Nifty is above 17400 with a jump of 100 points. Dow futures saw a strength of 150 points. US markets closed flat on Wednesday. Dow Jones lost 42 points at 30274 points and Nasdaq lost 28 points to close at 11149. The S&P 500 was down 0.20 percent. Dow has gained 800 points and Nasdaq 350 points in the last two days.
Earlier on Tuesday, the stock market recovered after several days of decline. The BSE Sensex gained 1,277 points in the domestic stock market. The 30-share Sensex jumped 1,276.66 points to end at 58,065.47. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17,274.30 with a gain of 386.95 points.
