Sensex and NSE Nifty50
Both the Sensex and the Nifty had dropped by 616.75 points and 0.83 percent, respectively, to settle at 73,502.64 and 22,332.70, respectively. Roughly 2790 shares fell, 131 shares remained steady, and 1005 shares increased. The Nifty fell below 22,350 as benchmark indices concluded the day on March 11 down.

Zydus Lifesciences attained a significant milestone in 2024 when its market capitalization increased by 60%, reaching a total of Rs 1 lakh crore. During Monday’s intraday trading on the BSE, the stock rose about 4% and reached a new high of Rs 1,015.70. The USFDA’s positive EIR report for the company’s Ahmedabad site signalled the end of the inspection.
