Top 5 stocks of the day: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise
In the early session on June 1, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise increased by more than 4%, helped by the company’s expansion plans, to reach Rs 4,830 on the National Stock Exchange, its highest level since December 22, 2022.
By the end of FY24, the firm intends to increase bed occupancy levels for its primary hospital business to 70%, according to Apollo Hospitals managing director Suneeta Reddy. The percentage of beds occupied in Q4 was 64%.
Sensex and NSE Nifty50
On June 1, benchmark indices declined for the second straight session, with Nifty closing under 18,500. At the closing, the Nifty was at 18,487.80 while the Sensex was down 46.60 points, or 0.25%, at 62,428.54. 2034 shares increased in price, 1408 shares decreased, and 120 shares were steady.
