Top 5 Stocks Of The Day: Coal India, Hero MotoCorp, BPCL, ONGC, and NTPC are among the top losses on the Nifty, whilst Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Apollo Hospitals, Wipro, Divis Labs, and HCL Technologies are among the gainers. Sector-wise, the IT and healthcare indices finished higher, but the FMCG, PSU Bank, capital goods, metal, oil & gas, power, and real estate indexes were all down 1-4 percent. The BSE smallcap index dropped 3% while the midcap index dropped 2.6%.
Sensex and NSE Nifty50
The Nifty was down 166.50 points, or 0.76 percent, at 21,616 at the closing, while the Sensex was down 523 points, or 0.73 percent, at 71,072.49. A little over 791 shares rose, 2618 shares fell, and 66 shares remained constant. On February 12, Indian equities indices finished lower, with the Nifty closing at 21,600 due to selling in all sectors but IT and pharmaceuticals.

Hero MotoCorp share price declined more than 5%
The intraday trading on Monday saw a more than 5% decrease in the share price of Hero MotoCorp. Hero MotoCorp released its financial results for the December quarter on Friday after market hours. Hero MotoCorp reported a 51% increase in profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 1,073 crore. Additionally, the business declared an interim dividend of Rs 100 per share. Hero is still favoured by analysts at Jefferies India Pvt Ltd because they think the country’s two-wheeler market is ready for a robust cyclical rebound.
