Top 5 stocks of the day: Adani Enterprises, IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports, Titan Company, and ONGC were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while Asian Paints, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Britannia Industries, and Apollo Hospitals were among the top losers. All sectoral indices, with the exception of metal and electricity, finished in the negative, with FMCG and PSU Bank down almost 1% apiece and capital goods and healthcare down 0.5% each.

In a choppy day on August 10, Indian benchmark indices declined, with Nifty closing under 19,550. The Nifty was down 89.40 points or 0.46 percent at 19,543.10 at closure, and the Sensex was down 307.63 points or 0.47 percent at 65,688.18. 1851 shares fell, 1649 increased, and 132 remained unchanged. The BSE smallcap and midcap indices both finished slightly lower.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions IPO records 24% booking
In its first public offering on August 10, TVS Supply Chain Solutions got bids for 60.39 lakh equity shares, out of a total size of 2.51 crore shares, with a 24 percent subscription rate.
The share reserved for high net worth persons, which is 15 percent of the issue size, was purchased at an 8 percent rate, while retail investors purchased 1.18 times the authorised quota, or 10% of the IPO size. The offer is still open for bids from qualified institutional buyers (QIB), who have up to a 75% reserve in the issue.
